Kylie Cole
Director
Kylie comes to VCP with an expansive background in both the educational and nonprofit sectors. Kylie received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Multnomah University. She was the owner and Director of Cherry Tree Preschool in Hillsboro, Oregon for 4 years before founding and operating a nonprofit called the Capes & Crowns Foundation in 2015. She is very passionate about serving children and families from all backgrounds by creating a nurturing, safe, and loving environment where they can truly thrive and grow into the amazing humans they are destined to be. Kylie has 4 wonderful boys ranging from 6-12!
Danielle Ames
Assistant Director & Caterpillars Assistant Teacher
Danielle has been a huge asset to VCP over the last few years. She previously served as our Assistant Director, and is now juggling both roles as part-time assistant director and part-time assistant teacher in our 4’s class! Danielle lives in Portland with her husband and their two children; her daughter Riley, and her son Dylan. Both Riley and Dylan are graduates of Valley Christian Preschool. “We loved Danielle so much, we didn’t let her leave us when her children graduated!”
Tiffany Goldader
Operations Manager & Specials Teacher
Tiffany is our jane-of-all-trades. When something needs to be fixed, made better, organized, or accomplished, Tiffany is on it! She is super creative, resourceful…. our own McGyver! Whether Tiffany is stepping into the classroom to assist, or working on admininstrative tasks, she’s a wonderful asset to our team!
Malia Paulsen
Administrative Assistant & Bumblebee Assistant Teacher
Malia comes to VCP from an expansive background in theatre! She’s a brilliant artist with much experience in set design and technical theatre. She loves being apart of a preschool environment where children are able to discover their inner artist! Malia lives in Aloha with her son, Liam (13), dog (Baxter), cat (Buddy/Budward). She’s a devoted Seahawks fan… and enjoys finding creative ways to brighten her day after experiencing so much loss on the football field. #12thMan

Shelby Parrott
Kindergarten Teacher
We are so excited to welcome Ms. Shleby back to Valley for another year as our Kindergarten teacher! Ms. Shelby’s holds her bachelor degree is psychology with an empasis on child development and family studies. She’s an very gifted teacher with a huge heart for her students. She lives her Portland with her kitten, Joey.
Laura Carlson
4's Lead Teacher
We are so excited to welcome Ms. Laura back to Valley for another year! Laura taught in our 4’s class from 06-08! Laura is an extremely gifted teacher with a love for inspiring young minds and facilitating learning through hands-on activities. She especially loves watching the pride and joy on the faces of her students as they work hard to accomplish new tasks and learn new skills.
Maria Abrahamson
4's Assistant Teacher
This is Maria’s 2nd year teaching at Valley and we are so glad she’s here! Maria is a mother of 2 wonderful teenagers. Maria grew up in Ohio with 6 brothers and sisters, so being around many children comes second nature to her! She loves seeing the joy, smiles, and laughter on her student’s faces!

Karen Broome
3's Lead Teacher
Ms. Karen is a mother of 3, and grandmother of 7! Ms. Karen is a pillar in our community and recently celebrated her 25th year teaching at Valley! She is incredibly gifted, dedicated and so passionate about her students. We are so blessed to have Karen on staff!

This is Ms. Lisa’s 5th year at VCP and we’re so excited to have opened the new Ladybug classroom with her at the helm. Ms. Lisa is a wife and mom of 3 teenagers and 2 dogs! Lisa is an incredible teacher and we’re so grateful to have her on staff at Valley!
